hey guys! just got back from AWA. Great Con, though I wish I had gone to a panel or two -_-. better luck next time.

highlights include:

Being left behind in our room and attempting to go to the convention center by foot. At night. In Atlanta, (I'm wagering to say) the worst city for pedestrians. I almost got hit by a car TWICE, and nearly twisted my ankle due to a hole in the sidewalk.

Going to Steak & Shake at 2 in the morning. We had to pack 8 people into a 5-person car. which meant 6 sat in the back seat. the whole trip was filled with panicking that we were going to get pulled and the sound of my friends car grinding up a hill. When we got there, we realized that half of us could have walked. -_-. BUT THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS SO IT DOESNT MATTER.

the Yoko cosplayer count was at 5

In a similar note, I saw a Cammy!!

my friend dressed up as Link and got a marriage proposal from some dude. She had a kickass wooden shield too that was like 5 pounds, so I ended up carrying for a while. That thing could seriously be a legit shield if we came under arrow fire.

Crossing a 12 lane highway by foot to get to my friends hotel. Extreme frogger.

Spending all my money on crap

Watching a Brawl tournament. Like, 119 people entered and one of my friends got into the third round! Jeez, some people are amazing at the game. I think watching them actually made me slightly better at that game.

Watched a Toradora screening ))))

Saw [link] at the artist alley the last day! I had no money by then so i chickened out and didn't go up to her and tell her how much I loved her stuff. She was definitely the one of best artists there though! it seemed like she wasn't getting a lot of business though because she wasn't selling pins about yaoi and L's ass
...or maybe she was, because i didn't go up to her table ;_;
either way! bad people for not throwing money at her!

I had a fun time! Next con i go to, i think i'm going to dress up. i was going to cosplay this time in a group, but a apparently AWA frowns upon shouting, moving around in mobs, and assaulting people
